Offer available on all orders received prior to 5pm on 28th February 2025
WALLS
Sturdy 47mm x 38mm (44mm x 34mm finished) pressure treated framing which
is diagonally braced and screwed together before being clad with your choice of:
• 19mm (15mm finished) pressure treated T&G Shiplap
• 22mm (20mm finished) pressure treated T&G Loglap
• 23mm – 6mm pressure treated Weatherboard
There is an option to add a white/grey vapour proof lining to the interior of the building if desired (standard on Weatherboard clad buildings)
FLOOR
16mm (12mm finished) pressure treated T&G on 44mm x 34mm pressure treated joists. Option to upgrade to 19mm (15mm finished) or 22mm (20mm finished) pressure treated T&G if required.
ROOF
16mm (12mm finished) T&G matchboarding with roof purlins supported as necessary on sturdy roof trusses and beams covered with a heavy duty polyester based green mineral roofing felt.
HEIGHTS
The roof slopes diagonally from the rear corner – where it benefits from a generous internal headroom of 1.84m (6’) – with the peak being above the door where the internal headroom rises to 2.12m (7’). A taller height version is available if desired which will increase the internal headroom to 1.95m (6’ 7”) at the lowest point rising to 2.23m (7’ 4”) at the highest point.
DOORS
All Sapphire garden sheds feature a single 0.9m (3’) wide x 1.78m (5’ 10”) box frame door* as standard. This is hung on a pair and a half of heavy duty galvanised T-hinges and fitted with a rim lock although there is an option to upgrade the lock to the unique long throw security bolt with 5 lever locking mechanism for a small extra cost if desired. Additionally you have the option to switch to wider double doors or upgrade to our joiner-made Premium door option (a framed, ledged and braced door which is hung on butt hinges within a proper frame with traditional threshold and a mortice lock/lever handle). * Note: the width of the door may be reduced in certain instances if the building design dictates. This will include when the door is fitted with a window either side on a 1.8m (6’) or 2.1m (7’) wall
WINDOWS
Each building is fitted with at least one joinery-made bay of windows; the precise number varies according to the size of the building in question. They are toughened glass as standard – there is an option for double glazed units – and, although all windows are fixed, you can add a top-hung opening sash as an extra if required.
• 1 pane single window: 0.51m (1’ 8”) wide x 0.66m (2’ 2”) high
• 2 pane window set: 0.98m (3’ 3”) wide x 0.66m (2’ 2”) high
• 3 pane window set: 1.45m (4’ 9”) wide x 0.66m (2’ 2”) high
If security is critical then there is the option to add high security window bars inside the building for a small extra cost or you can even exchange any bay of windows for pillar box style security windows (reduces the height of the window bay to prevent access via the window) at no additional cost
